Maximized speed without compromises in safety: This was the challenge faced when assembling Bavaria's largest roof solar power plant.

In the space of just 16 weeks SAG Dandl managed to install around 23,000 solar modules onto four connected Fischer warehouse roofs for the company Deutsche BP AG in the Bavarian towns of Kronwieden/Dingolfing. Thanks to special retaining claws in the substructure, it was possible to connect the photovoltaic system with the roof panel without having to penetrate it. SAG also undertook the safeguarding of all building edges at risk of falling off.

In total, a module surface of 29,000 m² producing approx. 3.6 million KW hours per year was created. So that energy from the roof could also feed into the power grid, SAG carried out the entire connection works to the 20 kv supply point of E.ON Bayern AG located 3 kilometres away. The system reduces CO2 emissions by 2,500 tonnes per year.
