Industrial operations require security of power supply and stability – SAG catered for this in the Czech town of Bělá nad Radbuzou.

The existing high voltage line in Bělá nad Radbuzou were no longer able to cope with the growing energy demands of the industrial zones along the D5 motorway. Thanks to the TR 110/22 kV transformer station, erected as a node, the power supply for the entire region is now guaranteed. Simultaneously, it was possible to considerably reduce the network’s previous energy losses. An additional challenge when building the new transformer station: Its location on the outskirts of the city made strict provisions for noise protection necessary.
